You ended up here because you may look for some help. Your device is miscounting, showing wrong values or just doesnt count at all popping error signs as fast as you press the button. That’s alright We are here to help you and the solution might be simplier than you may think.

First of all let us apologise for any inconveniece or frustration you are experiencing with our product. We do our best to ensure our customers get a high quality products and services. We approach every piece individually and test individually before shipping. However every once in a while it may and probably it will happen that you’ll experience some sort of malfunction over time. It’s quite natural and this doesn’t differ from other Electronics and other mechanical devices. We highly recommend a regular care to ensure everything works smoothly. Camo offers a regular maintenance by experienced technicians including calibrating downforce wheel, sensor cleaning and other casual servicing to ensure long lifespan of our products.

Here we list error signs you may encounter. They can give you a better clue of what’s wrong or how to fix it. Sometimes You may come across errors that don’t go away whereas the fix is so simple. Whether you got increased miscounts, wrongly calibrated downforce wheel or you got just a dirty unreadable barcode – here is a list of the most common error messages you may get.

For GMS-1000K

Er2

Abnormality of motor rotation

Conditions of detection

  • Device stopped due to reading disability(NO READ), scanner was unable to read the barcode.

Solution

  • Take off the last 3 coupons from the bottom stacker and return them into the hopper. Try to press RESTART button for continuing reading. In case the error persists check the barcode for any damage. If the barcode is damaged and unable to read please add this coupon into the batch manually.

Note/ticket Jammed

Conditions of detection

  • A coupon/note has stuck inside the counter

Solution

  • Take off all tickets from the hopper. UNPLUG THE DEVICE FROM THE POWER and open the top cover to get access to the inside. Now It's possible to remove the tickets. Then close the lid and carry on with counting.

Two tickets in

Conditions of detection

  • Double notes detected

Solution

  • Check out the tickets in hopper and stacker. There is a chance two tickets are pinned together. Use RESTART button to delete the error message and start counting over again.

Half note

Conditions of detection

  • uncompleted, torn ticket detected or ticket in a wrong position.

Solution

  • Double check the tickets in hopper and stacker. There is a chance some tickets might have folded corner, torn or somehow rotated. Use RESTART button to delete the error message and start counting over again.

Chained tickets

Conditions of detection

  • Two or more chained tickets detected.

Solution

  • Double check the tickets in hopper and stacker. Use RESTART button to delete the error message and start counting over again.

Batch over stop

Conditions of detection

  • In case counted notes exceed the batch size.
  • Unusual ticket in the batch

Solution

HP

Hopper sensor doesn't detect any load

Conditions of detection

  • Tickets were put in the hopper incorrectly or the hopper is empty
  • Auto-start sensor is fouled

Solution

  • Re-insert the tickets to the hopper
  • Switch off the device and write down the displayed error code. Use a soft brush to clean the areas indicated by the error code.

Tickets in the stacker

Conditions of detection

  • Machine cannot start as some tickets remain in the stacker.

Solution

  • Remove the tickets from the stacker and repeat the operation.
CL1-CL5

Sensor cleaning

Conditions of detection

  • One or more sensors are fouled and need to be cleaned.

Solution

  • Turn off the device and use a soft brush to clean the sensors as indicated by error code.
dd, dd2

Different ticket denomination

Conditions of detection

  • Tickets of different sizes mixed in the batch. The first ticket width and the second ticket width is bigger than the set threshold value.
  • Non-standard ticket detected

Solution

  • Double check the last 1 or 2 tickets in the hopper.
  • Check out all the tickets in the hopper and stacker and count them again.

We recommend you to keep this function ON(when the control light is red). Otherwise machine doesn't allow dimensions recognition and doesn't count any different denominations.

  • To start DD function press DD button and red LED lights up. (to turn DD off press the button again)
  • When device detects a ticket of different dimension from the very first ticket in the batch counting stops and displays "dd2 error message. It means the one ticket before the last scanned has a different dimensions. At the same time these two are not counted in the batch.

  • Check out all the tickets in the device and count them again.

Strong light

Conditions of detection

  • Outer light is too strong

Solution

  • Re-position the device in the way there is no direct sunlight facing the device.
